Citizen Stream Monitor Training March 17 at Tusculum College

Have you ever wanted to contribute to protecting your local watershed but donʼt know how? Clean Water Expected in East TN (CWEET) trains volunteer citizen science monitoring teams to go into the nearby Nolichucky and Pigeon Rivers to collect biological and chemical data that can be used to monitor stream health over time and to advocate for the enforcement of environmental standards. Volunteers must fill out an application and commit to the full day training along with 2 more days per year field work. Applications are due Feb 28, 2018. Any questions or problems, email Amelia Taylor at amelialetgo@gmail.com.
